I have been playing egg for the better half of a year and have gotten myself in trouble with the law several times to be conservative. This has been the first roleplay server I have ever played on and I have always had an interest in becoming a police officer in this ever since learning about FiveM. I didn't pursue achieving this when I first joined due to applications being closed and I also happened to join with my friends who were more interested in the criminal aspects. Due to having no one else to enjoy this experience with I couldn't neglect roleplaying with my friends.
I was unaware until very recently that having a criminal record disqualifies you from being approved for Police applications and I cannot reset my character to resolve this issue either as that is not an allowed option. I had the understanding prior to learning this that it was accepted to have a criminal record as long as you haven't committed any crimes for a month, same for bans/warnings. I got this false information from talking to people in city and didn't second guess them.
All I've ever wanted to roleplay as was law enforcement. I do not wish to continue to roleplaying as a criminal and it was never my intent to do so. I hope you're able to see this from my perspective and understand my frustration. I wouldn't be making this much of an effort if it was just a "I wanna try this for fun" situation. Roleplaying as a cop is all I hope to be. No disrespect, but I believe it should be a little more forgiving if you haven't committed any crimes for a certain period of time. My question is, would there be anyway I could get an exception. This whole situation gives me inexpressible sadness knowing that I'm forever banned in become what I've always wanted to be.

Well over a month has past without a response to this forum post which I find disappointing and I also feel ignored as every other posts in the "Help and Support" section have replies but I digress. It has been brought to my attention that another player in the community was allowed a reset after continuous criminal activity and has now become a police officer in his new life.
I find this quite unfair to say the very least as it is exactly what I wish to achieve. My sources tell me that this player currently goes by the name Elijah Ashford and is currently in PD, in his previous life he was known as Ben Roberts and was a part of "Vanatori" and most definitely had a bigger and more severe criminal record than mine.
I would like to know why this person was allowed a reset but yet I am forbidden considering my countless attempts at communicating to staff and PD about this situation.
